Non Religious Homeschool Curriculum

non religious homeschool curriculum

Despite popular belief, not every homeschool family is religious. Sure, the majority of homeschoolers is Christian. But every year the homeschool community is growing exponentially, and as a result, the number of non-religious homeschoolers is increasing, as well.

More and more parents are leaving the public school system in droves, pursuing a better educational opportunity for their children. They want to take advantage of the wide array of opportunities afforded to homeschoolers, such as shorter lesson times, more freedom to explore personal interests, and individual attention.

While the majority of curriculum is geared toward Christian homeschoolers, many publishers are recognizing the growing need for secular, or other religious curriculum.

Here is a list of some of the non-religious homeschool curriculum options that are currently available:

K12

Connections Academy

Keystone School

Oak Meadow

Lesson Pathways

Calvert Education

Discovery K12

Core Curriculum

Acellus

American School

Global Village

Laurel Springs

Moving Beyond the Page

Robinson Curriculum

Time 4 Learning

Timberdoodle

All of the above options offer full curriculum, and some offer individual courses or materials for individual subjects. They are all excellent choices and I’m sure you will have a hard time choosing which is the best!
